Current R & D Projects

Visual FX & Animation Facility Design and Pipeline R&D : Oktober are currently engaged by a number of local and international Production Studios to design and deliver a "Studio as a Service offering" in the Australian market.

Digital Media Ingest and Transcode Facility : Oktober are currently blueprinting a new Media Ingest market offering for the ingest of large libraries of media content, to enable asset owners to exploit and monetise their IP. Oktober plans to begin a facility build sometime in mid 2011.

CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) Approved Child Restraint for use in commerical airliners for use by new mothers and infants aged to 9 months.

Animated Feature Production : Oktober maintains a strategic relationship with the Australian Production Studio - Bionic Studios that are currently developing a number of both live action and animated feature film projects.
